## Choose CrowdRiff if

Your bottleneck is visuals: you need a steady supply of licensed photos and video, and somewhere organized to keep them.

- You need fresh, licensed photos and video every month.
- You want a shared library for partners, press and your agency.
- You work with creators on short video.

## Choose Hiveway if

Your bottleneck is the website: places, events, partner listings and a newsletter, for one flat price ($999 a month).

- You need the website itself rebuilt and run.
- You want listings, events and the newsletter in one place.
- You'd rather spend a content budget on pages AI can read and recommend.

**The short version:** Hiveway for Destinations is $999 a month, flat, month to month. (the big tourism platforms bill support, every import and every article separately, every year) [About Hiveway for Destinations](https://hiveway.org/destinations)

CrowdRiff isn't a website platform, and it doesn't claim to be. It helps a destination find, license, organize and publish photos and video: user-generated content from social media, short videos from creators, and a digital asset library to keep it all in. 900+ destinations use it.

Hiveway is the visitor website and what runs it. A small DMO weighing a budget line may compare them, but most use a content tool alongside a website, not instead of one.

## Seven things, checked.

| What | CrowdRiff | Hiveway |
| --- | --- | --- |
| What it is | A visual content platform: UGC, creators, digital asset management, content planning | The visitor website and the system of record behind it |
| Pricing model | Quote only. Tourism Santa Fe's 2023 sole source estimated $22,000 a year over four years | $999 a month, flat, everything included |
| Website | Not a website platform; galleries embed on your site | Included: your visitor website, rebuilt by us in the first months, hosted and kept up |
| Photos and video | Its core job: find, request rights to, store and publish visuals | Your own photos on every page; no UGC rights tool or asset library |
| Listings and events | Not offered | Every place worth visiting has a page; partners update their own listings. A visitor events calendar with public submissions you approve |
| Newsletter | Not offered | A visitor newsletter, drafted from your events and sent from your own domain |
| Support | By contract | Email, answered by Jeff or Amara, who built it |

## The honest math.

CrowdRiff doesn't publish prices. Two public records give a sense of scale: Tourism Santa Fe's 2023 sole source estimated $22,000 a year on a four-year term, and Simpleview's 2022 quote to Santa Fe noted CrowdRiff is available through Simpleview "starting at $12,000/year."

Hiveway for Destinations is $999 a month, about $12,000 a year. If you already pay for CrowdRiff, keep it: its galleries can sit on any website, ours included.

## We rebuild it for you.

No build fee, and no charge per import.

**One honest note** Hiveway is in its founding season. We're building it now with our first chamber, so it isn't something you can sign up for off the shelf today.
