[Compare](https://hiveway.org/compare) · Pricing, explained

WildApricot publishes its prices, offers a 60-day free trial and charges no setup fee, which is more than most of this market does. Every plan has the same features; you pay by how many contacts are in your database.

For a chamber, two details decide the real bill: contacts are always more than members, and using a payment processor other than WildApricot's own adds 20% to your plan.

## What it comes to.

A 150-member chamber (assuming about 400 contacts)

Owners, staff at member businesses, event guests and newsletter readers all count, so we assume about 400 contacts; check your own list. That's the 500-contact level: $154 a month, $1,848 a year paid monthly, or $1,663.20 prepaid for a year. Taking payments through your own Stripe instead of Personify Payments adds 20%: $2,217.60 a year paid monthly.

A 450-member chamber (assuming about 1,200 contacts)

Past 500 contacts the next level is 2,000: $265 a month, $3,180 a year paid monthly, or $2,862 prepaid for a year. With an outside processor, add 20%: $3,816 a year paid monthly.

What isn't in those numbers

The website is a builder your staff use and keep up; the time is yours. There's no onboarding fee.

Hiveway, either size

Hiveway for Chambers, for comparison: $299 a month, $3,588 a year, at any size. The website, setup and the move off your old system are included; there's no setup fee and no contract. One of us doing the work with you is $599 a month on top, if you want it.

## What to watch for.

For a small chamber with a tight budget and a staff member who likes building pages, WildApricot is good value, as long as you use its payment service and keep an eye on your contact count.

If you'd rather have the website built for you and a price that doesn't follow your contact list, Hiveway for Chambers is $299 a month, flat.

- You pay for contacts, not members. WildApricot's help center says archived records stop counting, which means everyone else does.
- The jump from 500 to 2,000 contacts is one step: $154 to $265 a month.
- Use Stripe, PayPal or Authorize.net and a 20% Payment System Servicing Fee is added to your plan at renewal (US and Canada).
- WildApricot is built for every kind of membership group. Chamber specifics, like businesses with several contacts and tiered directory listings, are set up by hand.

**The short version:** Hiveway for Chambers is $299 a month, flat, month to month. (ChamberMaster starts at $3,900 a year, before a website) It's in its founding season: we're building it now with our first chamber.

### Does WildApricot have a setup fee?
