## In short

We collect only what you type into a form, use it only to write back, sell nothing, and delete it when you ask.

## Who we are

Hiveway is made by MXVEN, LLC ("we", "us"), run by Jeff Sarris and Amara Andrew. This policy covers the hiveway.org website. When the Hiveway app opens to customers, its own terms and data processing agreement will cover the data organizations keep in it.

## What we collect

What you choose to send us:

- The application form: your organization's type, name, town and state, its approximate size, its current software, what you want Hiveway to do, your name and your email address.
- The contact form: your name, your email address, your organization if you give it, and your message.

We don't use advertising trackers, and we don't sell or rent anything you send us. If spam protection from Cloudflare Turnstile is turned on, Cloudflare processes signals from your browser to tell people from bots, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy.

We count page views with our own self-hosted analytics, which works without cookies: it sets nothing on your device, stores no identifier of any kind and keeps no profile of you. Each page view records only the page's address, the site that sent you, your screen width and a country worked out at the network edge. There's nothing to opt out of, because nothing follows you.

We also use Google Analytics to see which pages are useful and how people find us. It sets cookies and processes usage data (pages visited, approximate location from a shortened IP address, and device and browser type) on our behalf. We never use it for advertising or sell what it collects. You can opt out on every site with Google's [browser add-on](https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout), and Google describes its own handling in its [privacy policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy).

## Why we collect it

To read your application or message and write back to you by email. That's all. We don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask to be on one.

## Who processes it

- Cloudflare, which hosts this website.
- Mailgun, which delivers form submissions to our inbox.
- Google, which runs Google Analytics for us.

## How long we keep it

We keep applications and messages for as long as we're talking with you, and for a reasonable time after in case you write again. Ask us to delete them and we will.

## Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send the request through our [contact form](https://hiveway.org/contact) and one of us will reply by email.

If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
