Hiveway vs CrowdRiff
CrowdRiff is a visual content platform for travel brands, used by 900+ destinations: user-generated photos, creator video, a digital asset library and a content planner.
The other choiceChoose CrowdRiff if
Your bottleneck is visuals: you need a steady supply of licensed photos and video, and somewhere organized to keep them.
- You need fresh, licensed photos and video every month.
- You want a shared library for partners, press and your agency.
- You work with creators on short video.
Our choiceChoose Hiveway if
Your bottleneck is the website: places, events, partner listings and a newsletter, for one flat price ($999 a month).
- You need the website itself rebuilt and run.
- You want listings, events and the newsletter in one place.
- You'd rather spend a content budget on pages AI can read and recommend.
The short version: Hiveway for Destinations is $999 a month, flat, month to month. (the big tourism platforms bill support, every import and every article separately, every year) About Hiveway for Destinations
CrowdRiff isn't a website platform, and it doesn't claim to be. It helps a destination find, license, organize and publish photos and video: user-generated content from social media, short videos from creators, and a digital asset library to keep it all in. 900+ destinations use it.
Hiveway is the visitor website and what runs it. A small DMO weighing a budget line may compare them, but most use a content tool alongside a website, not instead of one.

What you'd actually pay
The honest math.
CrowdRiff doesn't publish prices. Two public records give a sense of scale: Tourism Santa Fe's 2023 sole source estimated $22,000 a year on a four-year term, and Simpleview's 2022 quote to Santa Fe noted CrowdRiff is available through Simpleview "starting at $12,000/year."
Hiveway for Destinations is $999 a month, about $12,000 a year. If you already pay for CrowdRiff, keep it: its galleries can sit on any website, ours included.

Questions, answered plainly.
Is CrowdRiff a website CMS?
No. CrowdRiff manages visual content (user-generated photos, creator video and a digital asset library) that you publish on a website you run elsewhere.
How much does CrowdRiff cost?
It's quote only. Tourism Santa Fe's public sole source estimated $22,000 a year in 2023, and a 2022 Simpleview quote said it starts at $12,000 a year when bought through Simpleview.
Can we use CrowdRiff with Hiveway?
CrowdRiff galleries are made to embed on destination websites. We'd confirm the details with you before promising a specific integration.
